The ten checks
Fixed weights, no guesswork. Run it again after a change and the number moves.

Without it the listing answers every question alone.
Opening hours
Google favours listings it can call open now.
Photos
The first thing people judge, and stale ones read as closed.
Review count
One of the strongest local ranking signals.
Average rating
Most people filter before they read anything.
Description
The one place you choose the words.
Address
Distance is one of the three things Google weighs.

A listing marked closed is hidden entirely.
Questions people ask
Including the ones with an inconvenient answer.
- Do I need to connect my Google account?
- No. The checker reads what Google already publishes about your listing, the same things a customer sees. Nothing is connected and nothing is changed.
- How is the score calculated?
- Ten checks with fixed weights: category, phone, website, opening hours, photos, review count, average rating, description, address and whether the listing is marked open. The same listing always gets the same score, so you can fix something and check again.
- Why does it say my photo count is capped at ten?
- Google's public data stops reporting photos at ten. We say so rather than pretending the number is exact. The same honesty applies to reviews: Google publishes only a handful, so we treat review dates as a hint, not proof.
- Does a higher score mean I will rank first?
- No, and anyone promising that is guessing. A complete listing is eligible for more searches and converts better once someone finds it. Ranking also depends on distance, category and your reviews, which no tool controls.
- Is this the same as what I see in my Business Profile dashboard?
- Not quite. This is the public view. Owner replies, posts and messages are not in Google's public data, so they are not scored here. Connecting your account inside Sweep shows those too.
