A salon owner in Koramangala is cutting hair from ten in the morning. A clothes shop in Lucknow is dealing with a delivery. Neither of them is going to sit down and reply to a review at four in the afternoon, or write a Google post on a Wednesday.

Meanwhile the customer who was about to walk in is on their phone, reading the reviews of three shops and choosing one. That decision is being made whether the owner participates or not.
