How it works
From what people search to whether it worked
Most tools guess at keywords. Google already knows which ones found you, and tells us. This is the loop that turns that into work done.
Step 1 of 7
Google reports the real phrases
Not an estimate from a keyword tool. The Business Profile Performance API returns the terms people actually searched before your listing appeared, with how often.

Reviews are the part that moves rank
Published research puts review recency and a steady flow of new reviews among the strongest local ranking factors. Posts keep you visible; reviews get you found.

Questions
About the method
- Where does the keyword data come from?
- Google's Business Profile Performance API, which reports the search terms that showed your listing and how many impressions each got. It is your listing's own data, not a national estimate from a keyword tool.
- Why do some phrases show a limit rather than a number?
- Google returns low-volume terms as a threshold instead of an exact count, for privacy. We show the threshold rather than inventing a figure.
- Does publishing posts about a phrase make me rank for it?
- Not on its own, and we will not pretend otherwise. Published research puts posts low as a direct ranking factor. What they do is keep the listing active and earn clicks, calls and direction requests, and those engagement signals matter. The things that move rank most are your category, your reviews and how recently they arrived.
- How long before I see anything?
- Reviews start being answered within minutes of connecting. Posts begin on your next scheduled slot. Keyword data needs a month before month-over-month movement means anything.
